What are your qualifications and experience?
Professional Credentials I hold a 3-year Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and am currently completing a Diploma in Trauma Therapy. As a Registered Member of the BACP, I work within a strictly regulated ethical framework to ensure the highest standards of safety and confidentiality.
Clinical Background My practice is informed by broad experience within NHS Talking Therapies, the charity Victim Support, and private practice.
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Therapy is helpful for anyone feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply wanting to understand themselves better. You don’t need to be in a "crisis" to start. If you’re finding it hard to manage daily stress, struggling with relationships, or feeling like you’re constantly "performing" for others, therapy provides a space to breathe and regroup.
What happens during the initial assessment?
The first session is a chance for us to meet without any long-term commitment. We will discuss what brings you to therapy now, what you hope to achieve, and your history. It’s also an opportunity for you to see if you feel comfortable with my style and to ask any questions you might have.
How long does therapy take?
This depends entirely on your needs. I offer short-term therapy (usually 6–12 sessions) focusing on a specific goal or "problem," and long-term therapy for deeper exploration of lifelong patterns. We will check in regularly to see how you are feeling about our progress.
Do you offer online or in-person sessions?
I offer both. My physical practices are located in Fitzrovia and King’s Cross. For those with busy schedules or who live further away, I provide secure online therapy via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
Is what we talk about confidential?
Yes. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of my practice. As a BACP-registered therapist, I adhere to a strict ethical framework. There are very rare legal exceptions regarding your safety or the safety of others, which I will explain fully during our first meeting.
What if I need to cancel a session?
I have a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you let me know at least 48 hours in advance, we can look to reschedule. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will be charged at the full session rate.
I see you mention "Perfectionism" - do I have to be a 'high-achiever' to see you?
Not at all. Perfectionism often looks like "procrastination" or "feeling like a failure" because the standards we set for ourselves are so high. I work with people from all walks of life - from students and creatives to corporate professionals and retirees. If life feels "heavy," you are welcome here.
